Responsibilities
A hospital in eastern West Virginia has an opportunity for a skilled OB Hospitalist to assist their team.
About the Opportunity:
Level III NICU
Schedule: 24-hour shifts
Monthly Volume: 80-100 deliveries, 1,800 OB ED visits
Support Staff: Midwives on backup call
Comfortability with GYN ED cases, including laparoscopic and ectopic pregnancies, is preferred
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
Provide top-notch OB hospitalist coverage while fostering a warm and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate closely with the medical team to ensure smooth transitions and comprehensive care across Eastern WV.
Deliver expert obstetrical care during high-risk pregnancies, labor, and postpartum periods.
Actively support the Level III NICU team, ensuring that newborns receive exceptional care around the clock.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with families, ensuring they feel informed and cared for.
Stay up to date with best practices and maintain detailed, accurate record keeping.

Qualifications
Board-certified OB/GYN with a passion for providing excellent maternal care.
Demonstrated experience managing high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
Proficient in neonatal care protocols, ensuring safe transitions in a Level III NICU.
Adaptable and upbeat, ready to embrace the dynamic environment of Eastern WV hospitals.
Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills for smooth team integration.
