We have an exciting NEW opportunity for a Full-time Hospitalist to join our team as a dedicated Admitter working swing shift with Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of the new Southwest Healthcare system which is comprised of 5 acute care hospitals. This opportunity is located in Palmdale, CA where residents can have the best of both worlds and live in beautiful Los Angeles County, away from the business and traffic of downtown LA, yet close enough to drive in for a night on the town!

Position Profile:

• 184 bed community hospital; 239 beds at complete build-out
• 12 hour shifts with 7 on/7 off block schedule (flexible schedule available if needed)
• 10 hour dedicated Admitter swing shift
• No procedures required & no codes
• Intensivists in-house daily
• RRTS run by ICU nurses & Hospitalist usually attends
• Physician coverage consists of 5 daytime rounders, 1 swing Admitter, & 1 nocturnist
• Cerner EMR
• Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM or ABFM)

We offer a competitive compensation package with an estimated salary range starting at $300K to $346K plus additional $30K for FT commitment! We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance, annual CME, & a matching 401k plan.

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of the new Southwest Healthcare which is comprised of 5 acute care hospitals, serves the region by providing high quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities. With the recent addition of the Rehabilitation Institute, the hospital features 184 licensed acute care beds as well as inpatient and outpatient surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, cardiac services featuring a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack) & 2 cardiac catheterization labs and a 36 bed Emergency Department. Palmdale Regional's major services include Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nuclear Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Pathology, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Respiratory Services, Surgery(including Robotics), and Wound Care.­
