About Facility : The 60-acre campus of Banner Gateway Medical Center has the capacity to triple in size with the addition of two patient towers and coordinating support services. Banner Gateway is the first in the country to offer an extra type of monitoring, iCare, for our medical/surgical patients as well as intensive-care patients. Also located on our campus is Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. This center brings the world-renowned resources of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center to our community.
Highlights of the facility:
- Anesthesia Care Team comprised of 15 physicians and 25 CRNA’s
- Case mix: General, Ortho, OB, Vascular, Regional, Bariatrics, ENT, GI, and healthy peds No heads or hearts
- Annual surgical volume approximately 7,500 to 10,000 cases per year with (includes 400 OB cases)
- 177 private rooms
- 9 Main OR suites
- Cerner EMR
