CRNA Openings –Danbury, New Milford, Norwalk and Sharon Hospitals, Connecticut (Fairfield and Litchfield Counties)

Nuvance Health is seeking full-time and per diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our employed medical group at our Danbury, New Milford, Norwalk and Sharon Hospital locations in Fairfield and Litchfield Counties in Connecticut. We are conveniently located about 60 miles outside of New York City and nearby to Westchester County. Our CRNAs and Anesthesiologists are employed by Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Positions are flexible with a variety of work hours/shift options, call opportunity, and overtime options.

Our larger employed team, consisting of approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs, provides 24/7 coverage for a variety of cases, including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics at four hospitals in Fairfield and Litchfield Counties in Connecticut. These positions includes some cross coverage to our network sister facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, established program that includes teaching to residents, medical students and CRNA students. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses. We will consider new graduates into our dynamic learning environment.

Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year.

New Milford Hospital is an 85-bed community hospital, serving the residents of the greater Litchfield County area in CT for almost 100 years.  Sharon Hospital has 78 general hospital beds and provides a full range of services including cardiology, cardiopulmonary, emergency care, imaging, intensive care, neurosciences, orthopedics, pain management, stroke care, surgical, women’s services and wound care.

As teaching hospitals, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 900+employed physicians and advanced practitioners, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Fairfield and Litchfield Counties, located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, along the border of New York State, and along the coast of the Long Island Sound, are about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the region enjoys both proximity to Westchester as well as New York City culture and access to a wide array of venues for 4 season outdoor and indoor recreation. There are excellent public and private school options and universities. Filled with quaint towns, this suburban area offers easy access to urban life in a scenic New England setting.
