University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join the Anesthesia team at the new University of Minnesota Health (M Health) Ambulatory Surgery Center, which opened in February of 2016.
- Provide anesthesia services for surgical and procedural patients in the M Health surgery and procedure center.
- Use advanced knowledge skills and abilities to establish an environment of collaborative, integrated, quality, patient focused, care delivery for surgical patients at the CSC.
- The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is an advanced practice role with accountability for the patient’s individualized anesthesia care.
- The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) oversees line operations of the anesthesia department and supervises support staff. Work independently as well as collaborate with Anesthesiologists. See a wide variety of cases.
- M Health Clinics and Surgery Center (CSC), has state-of-the-art operating rooms and same day surgery center facilities.

Position Qualifications:
A qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist training program. Have a current Minnesota RN license and be board certified or eligible from the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of successful CRNA experience, establishing an environment of collaborative patient-centered care for surgical patients.
- Preferred 5 years of successful CRNA experience working with outpatient surgery patients.
