Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a psychotherapist in a supportive skilled nursing/long-term care facility located in Thomasville, Georgia. TeamHealth is seeking a passionate and experienced licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist, or licensed mental health counselor to join our team and provide exceptional psychotherapy services.

About the Role
  • 3.5 days a week (during weekdays), covering three facilities located in Thomasville, Bainbridge, and Fort Gaines
  • No evenings or weekends work requirements
  • Scheduling flexibility that supports a great work/life balance: ability to set your scheduling preference, i.e. morning start time and rounding days, round and go environment, and 48 hours allowed for chart completion
  • Autonomous work environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans for older adults in a long-term care setting
  • Utilize your strong clinical skills to conduct assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based interventions

  • Professional growth: access ongoing training resources to enhance your skills and stay current in the field
  • Compensation is Fee for Service (FFS); expected compensation is estimated range of $54,731 to $64,777 annually with no cap on productivity income
  • You will be eligible for a base salary, health benefits, 401K, paid time off, and more

Qualifications
  • LPC, LMHC, or LMFT with a current license in the state of Georgia (we are unable to consider LCSWs for this role)
  • A minimum of 6 months experience as an LPC/LMHC/LMFT post program completion
  • Must be able to practice and bill independently without the need for completing supervisory hours
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
  • Passion for working with older adult populations
