Seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our OB/GYN Hospitalist team at AdventHealth Tampa! As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will see patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED), manage and deliver low risk obstetric patients, assist on cesarean sections and help with post-partum rounds. Model will consist of 2 clinicians in-house 24/7 with 1 physician for 24 hours and a second clinician; physician for 12 hour days/CNM for 12 hour nights. This position features 12 hour in-house shifts with the support of a TeamHealth OB/GYN Hospitalist physician. Ideal candidates will be AMCB certified, with a minimum of 2 years of post-training experience, able to demonstrate clinical excellence along with superior communication skills and a focus on providing quality care and patient satisfaction. Additional qualifications include active skills, and a current or in-process Florida license to practice. Other requirements include ability to partner with nursing and support in-house call coverage for community providers, a willingness to drive patient safety and quality initiatives as required by the TeamHealth Patient Safety Organization; insurability for malpractice insurance and a successful track record.
