TeamHealth is seeking a full-time certified nurse midwife to join our team at Antelope Valley Hospital. The facility is located north of Los Angeles in Lancaster, California. As a certified nurse midwife, you will see patients in clinic, in the obstetric emergency department (OBED), manage and deliver low risk obstetric patients, assist on cesarean sections and help with post-partum rounds. This position features 12-hour in-house night shifts and 24-hour in-house weekend shifts with a TeamHealth OB/Gyn hospitalist physician. Ideal candidates are AMCB certified with at least 1 year of active practice. Qualifications also include a current or in-process California license to practice. Other requirements include the ability to partner with nursing and support in-house call coverage for community providers.
