Providence Women’s Clinic at St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a full-time skilled Certified Nurse Midwife. You will join a high-volume, hospital-based collaborative practice participating in approximately 30 births a month with the midwife group and an additional 40 to 50 in collaboration with physicians. You will serve a diverse patient population, including Spanish-speaking patients. Certified Nurse Midwives are first called for all obstetric triage and perform first trimester ultrasounds for dating and viability. The practice provides largely obstetric care with some gynecological and annual exam visits. Join us in providing exceptional coordinated care to patients and families on Portland’s vibrant westside.
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE at 40-hours per week
- 12-hour shifts; Group takes call in-house. Assigned call room for use when there is down time in the hospital
- One to two years post-graduate clinical experience as Certified Nurse Midwife strongly preferred
- C-Section/First Assist in surgery experience preferred
- Ideal candidates will be bi-lingual in Spanish, though not required
