Swedish Medical Group is seeking a 0.9 FTE Certified Nurse Midwife to join a shared group practice in Seattle, Washington. This team aims to eliminate health disparities and improve perinatal outcomes through independent, anti-racist, trauma-informed, evidence-based midwifery care. This is a caring team of midwives who collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, RNs, IBCLCs and support staff who are committed to midwifery. In this role, you will help the group manage 40-50 deliveries per month in a large tertiary care center. The practice has a low c-section rate and excellent perinatal outcomes. Ideal candidate is adaptable, mission-oriented, and can work independently with minimal support.
- Experienced full-scope midwife preferred but new grads encouraged to apply
- AMCB Certification, active DEA, WA State RN/ARNP license and certification from an accredited Nurse Midwifery program required.
- Mix of perinatal care, GYN problem visits and annual exams, family planning, and lactation
- The total compensation package includes base compensation, quality incentives, and for those interested, extra shift (clinic and call) compensation as well as PTA and CME benefits
- Comprehensive benefits include health, vision, dental and retirement
- As a non-profit organization, Swedish is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program
- Compensation is between $59.37 and $73.36 per hour
- The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
