We are seeking a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) to support our growing group practice in Sarasota, Florida, on a part-time schedule (3 days per week).
Role Overview- Schedule: part-time, 3 days per week, Monday through Friday
- Provide patient care in a skilled nursing facility by conducting rounds in short-term units
- Complete documentation remotely using a provided iPad or laptop within 48 hours of patient visits
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
Requirements- Valid, unrestricted PMHNP license
- Active Florida license
- Active DEA
- Minimum 1 year of PMHNP experience
- Local candidates only
- Experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred but not required
Compensation is fee for service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated range of $82,597 to $99,116 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
