We are seeking a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) to help our growing group practice in the Northern Michigan region. Grayling, Michigan, is a good central location.
Role Overview- Schedule: 4 days a week within Monday through Friday
- Provide patient care in a skilled nursing facility by conducting rounds in their short-term units
- Conduct documentation at home with provided iPad laptop within 48 hours of seeing patient
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health needs
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation
Requirements- Hold a valid, full PMHNP license
- Local to Grayling, Michigan, area
- Active MI license
- Active DEA preferred but not required
- Experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred but not required
CompensationExpected compensation is estimated salary range of $106,000 to $125,700 with no cap on productivity income potential.
