An emergency medicine nurse practitioner is needed in Wisconsin for locum tenens coverage. The shifts are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the weekends. You will see 15 to 20 patients per day in the urgent care and emergency department. Candidates must be Wisconsin licensed and be able to lift up to 20 pounds. One year of ED experience is required and you will do sutures, splints, fracture care, and x-ray interpretation. Assistance with hospital privileges will be provided by Weatherby.
