Cooley Dickinson Medical Group is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join Amherst Medical Associates Amherst, MA Our ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience practicing primary care in an outpatient setting and will be licensed in Massachusetts.
This clinic is two miles down the street from the University of Massachusetts campus and offers a diverse patient mix that is 60-70% commercially insured. Our Providers work four clinic days (8 sessions), and one administrative day per week. They average 20 to 25 patient visits per day.
Amherst Medical Associates currently has a team of three talented physicians. The clinic is in a multispecialty building that shares the location with Orthopedics, Urgent Care, OBGYN and Pediatrics. Practice staff includes dedicated medical assistants, on-site phlebotomist, LPN triage support, and clinical supervisor. Full-service hospitalists provide all inpatient care. Providers rotate telephone call responsibilities.
