Nurse Practitioner (NP) - General Surgery: Trauma


Job Description

Rapides Regional Medical Center is searching for a shift-based physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the trauma team.

Qualified Candidates:
- Ideal applicant will have trauma, surgical, and/or critical care experience
- Candidates comfortable with first assist in surgery are preferred; however, first assist experience is not required
- Provider will work primarily in the inpatient setting but may also assist in surgery
- Existing schedule is a 7-day rotation of 12-hour shifts with 7 days on and 7 days off
- Applicants may need to participate in outpatient clinic for trauma follow-up on an as needed basis
