Job Description

Swedish Cancer Institute (SCI) is seeking a full-time, Hematology Oncology nurse practitioner to join their team. In this role, you will function as an Oncology provider imbedded within a very busy cancer center/infusion center, which has an additional research-focused infusion area. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, as well as experience with a variety of cancer treatment regimens including, infusion reactions, biotherapy, chemotherapy and urgent add-ons for symptom management. Practitioners in the SCI Treatment Center will also be responsible to triage patients from Oncology clinics via an Immediate Care Clinic which is imbedded within the Treatment Center.   • Help build upon a brand-new Immediate Care Oncology clinic model with other APCs
  • Work with ongoing rotation to provide 7 days per week coverage at ITU
  • Function independently as an extension of treating physician
