TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a PRN nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our experienced hospital medicine team at St. Vincent's St. Clair in Pell City, Alabama. This role offers maximum scheduling flexibility with as-needed night shifts and is ideal for clinicians interested in gaining experience at a community hospital with the potential to transition into a full-time position in the future.

• 40-bed community hospital serving Pell City and surrounding areas
• Open ICU (6 beds)
• Hospital medicine team provides ICU coverage
• UAB intensivist available via tele-ICU consults as needed
• No procedures required
• All codes handled by the ED
• EMR: Cerner
• Supportive and collaborative clinical environment
• Conveniently located near Birmingham while maintaining a close-knit, community-focused setting 

Position Details

• Schedule: PRN (as-needed)
• Shift: Nights; 12-hour shifts (6:00pm to 6:00am)
• Must be comfortable with solo clinician coverage at nights
• Minimum PRN commitment: availability to work at least three (3) shifts within a six-month period
• Compensation: Competitive PRN rates
• Growth opportunity: strong potential to transition to a full-time role if an opening becomes available
