Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing, MN is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an Orthopedic practice including two providers.
- Fairview Range Medical Center is co-located with the Mesabi Clinic.Multi-specialty practice of 40+ physicians, 175 bed hospital.
- This position works in the clinic providing care for non-operative and post-operative clinic patients.
- Surgical assist in the operating room
- Call one night per week and one weekend per month required

Position Qualifications:
A qualified PA candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant training program. Have a current PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Be eligible or certified through NCCPA and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges. Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
A qualified NP candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Nurse Practitioner training program. Have a current Minnesota APRN license and be approved or eligible by the Minnesota Board of Nursing for prescription writing privileges. Be eligible or certified through ANCC / AANP and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges. Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Preferred Qualifications:
Orthopedic surgery and casting experience preferred.
