Position Description
Missoula, Montana -- Seeking an experienced Orthopedic nurse practitioner. Part-time position (0.6 FTE). Three 8-hour shifts per week, with the potential to increase to 40 hours per week. Requirements include at least one year of experience in the inpatient or outpatient setting, strong knowledge of chronic disease processes and one to two years of previous orthopedic experience. Join a dedicated team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital’s orthopedic pre-op ambulatory clinic, where the majority of patients are getting total joint surgery for the hip, knee and shoulder. Main responsibilities include caring for pre-surgery patients by conducting a pre-op clearance for the surgery, a full physical exam, drawing blood work and an occasional EKG. This clinician will also round on patients in the hospital after surgery. Enjoy great work / life balance in the scenic beauty of western Montana.
