Lutheran Children’s Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana seeks to recruit a BC Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join an established pediatric endocrinology practice. Our current endocrinology team consists of 1 board certified pediatric endocrinologist, 2 certified diabetes educators, a pediatric dietitian, a pediatric social worker and 2 pediatric endocrine nurses. Heavily supported by pediatric intensivists, pediatric hospitalists, and pediatric emergency department.
Lutheran Children’s Hospital (LCH) is the first comprehensive children’s hospital in Fort Wayne. Since opening in 1999, LCH has created a dedicated “children’s hospital within a hospital” concept with recent facility investment of $10M. LCH is a tertiary care facility, with neonatal, maternal/fetal and pediatric transport programs that includes Lutheran Air and dedicated LCH Mobile Intensive Care Units, as well as a verified Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. While our city’s population is right around 360K, the pediatric reach is upwards of 1M.

- 24-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), plus 33 NICU beds at Dupont
- 8-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), plus 3 intermediate beds at Dupont Hospital
- 31-bed General Pediatrics Unit, plus 10 beds at Dupont
- 20-bed Obstetrics Unit, plus 48 beds at Dupont
- 7-bed Pediatric Emergency Department
