Seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or NICU PA for Innovative Level II NICU Telehealth Practice in Durango, CO! Blocks of time off!

Envision Physician Services is seeking a board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/NICU PA to join our new team to provide telehealth Neonatology services at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, CO. You will work alongside a dedicated team of allied health providers (NNPs/NICU PAs) coupled with being a part of a larger care team within the state of CO and KS where quality improvement and evidence-based practice are at the forefront. This is a great opportunity for an experienced NNP to help in the overall development of NICU care in the Durango community!

Opportunity Details:

• Staffing Model: 5 Neonatologists, 2 APPs
  • 2 APPs allocated to Mercy Regional
  • Opportunities to rotate within the market for increased acuity if desired
• Schedule:
  • Week on/off
  • Telerounds with Neonatologist (based out of Level III St. Francis Medical Center)
  • Call from home (**Low volume/acuity service – 800 deliveries annually)
• Coverage includes:
  • Attendance at high-risk deliveries
  • Care of some newborns
  • Level II NICU (7-beds; ADC 2)
  • Telerounding with Neonatology team in Colorado Springs, CO
  • Education of nursing team to enhance skillset/critical thinking skills
