Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Midland, Texas! Help build Level III NICU program!

Envision Physician Services and Midland Memorial are seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our growing program. Over the course of the year, the hospital will be constructing and opening their new Level III NICU. The goal will be for the new unit to be open this summer! The NNPs and Neos will work together to educate and train the RNs/RTs as the acuity shifts in the transition to Level III. Our clinical leadership team will monitor skillsets along the way to ensure that the team is prepared for each phase moving towards Level III.

Opportunity Details:

• Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists/4.7 APPs
• Currently 27-beds between Level II and nursery
• Annual Deliveries: 2,200
• ADC: 15
• Hospital is building new 22-bed Level III NICU
• Systematic plan to decrease gestational age and higher acuity admits to unit over time
• Clinical leaders are hoping for a year to transition into the full Level III and build the team
