In Trinity, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a Full-Time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who is responsible for providing outpatient general pediatric care from birth to 18 years of age. 

Job Overview:

• Prescribe medications and make recommendations for other forms of treatment
• Maintains medical expertise and competency as well as demonstrates a thorough knowledge of procedures to deliver quality primary medical care
• Examines, diagnoses treats and/ or refers patients for appropriate specialty care services
• Maintains a problem-oriented health record for each patient seen in accordance with the health center's established information management policies and procedures
• Participates in the review and development of patient care policies, including health maintenance schedules and continuity of care

Qualifications:

• An unrestricted License to practice as a Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurse with prescriptive authority in the State of Texas
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) and Board Certification in specialty
• Proficiency in Computer Skills and Electronic Health Records
