Providence Alaska Medical Center’s Breakthrough program, Outpatient Chemical Dependency, is seeking a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health nurse practitioner or physician assistant to help launch a new medication assisted treatment program, known as a bridge clinic, which will be the first of its kind in Alaska. A bridge clinic is a new setting where patients can receive evidence-based care for opioid use disorder, integrating both medical and SUD treatment. Patients may receive FDA-approved medications, counseling services and monitoring aimed to promote remission and recovery. - PMHNP certification required
- 1 to 2 years of provider experience, preferably with substance use disorder experience or mental health experience, but new graduates in Addiction Medicine will be considered.
- Full-time position
- 36 patient-facing hours a week. Monday to Friday schedule with no call coverage
