Mat-Su Regional Medical Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Advanced Practitioner for an employed position.
When covering on the inpatient unit:
- Conducts Psychiatric evaluations on new admissions
- Conducts daily rounds and completes daily progress notes
- Prescribed psychiatric medications
- Participates in court proceedings for involuntary patients when needed
- Provides periodic call coverage
(All of these responsibilities are completed with the co-signature of the mid-levels collaborating)
When covering the emergency department and/or medical floors:
- Conducts suicide risk assessments
- Completes involntary committment documentation when needed
- Provides consults to medical providers for psychiatric medications
