Outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-

Cooley Dickinson Medical Group in Northampton, Massachusetts is seeking a full-time psychiatric nurse practitioner to join an experienced psychiatrist in a busy behavioral health outpatient practice.
This position will practice at our largest ambulatory location in Northampton, MA. The office is located in a beautiful, multi-specialty building co-located with family medicine, OBGYN, and Midwifery, as well as a handful of other specialties.
The practice currently does psychiatric consultations for the CDMG’ primary care physicians. The candidate will be doing a combination of brief consultations and also developing a caseload for ongoing care. There are opportunities for the candidate to do consultations for other services in our system that might be of special interest to the candidate. Major services for expansion include Geriatrics, Medical Oncology, and OBGYN, and Midwifery.
Our ideal candidate will have an active licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a minimum of two years’ experience working with persons who have serious mental illness, and/or substance abuse disorders or a combination of licensure, education, and experience demonstrating ability to effectively perform essential job functions.
