Lutheran Health Network, Medical Group, in Warsaw, Indiana is seeking full time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant to provide urgent and non-urgent health care and occupational health services for patients, by means of examination and administering treatment for illnesses and injuries.
MedStat Urgent Care Facilities:
Two (2) medical facilities are located in Northern Indiana (Warsaw and Nappanee), as part of Lutheran Health Network. MedStat, offering urgent care, workers compensation, and occupational health services, provides a “one-stop shopping” experience for medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Forty (40) hrs./wkly. – shifts may vary but combo of 8 & 12 hour shifts at Warsaw, IN location.
- Exhibit excellent customer service; be patient-centric and customer service oriented.
- Perform physical examination of all systems of body, including circulatory, reproductive and nervous system.
- Assess patient medical condition to determine diagnosis of injury or illness; formulating a prognosis and treatment plan, if required.
- Effectively communicate with patient and healthcare staff to manage overall care.
- Counsel and educate on how to improve health and well-being
- Facilitates patient’s transition within and between health care settings, refer and transfer for specialty care when necessary for well-being of patient.
- Participate in the development of clinic protocols and formularies.
- Prescribe medication and treatment to patient.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Perform surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency.
- Team player with a “can do” attitude that can work in fast-paced environment independently.
Experience Required:
- NP or PA Degreed & Board Certified or Board Eligible
- At least three (3) years of clinical experiences in Family Medicine, Occupational Health Medicine, or Emergence Medicine preferred.
License Requirements:
- Board Certified as NP or PA
- Valid Indiana Driver’s License
