Practice Details:
The Gastroenterology team is seeking a nurse practitioner that will join the team and see patients on the inpatient unit and the outpatient clinic. The first week through the hospital would be seeing on average 12-15 patients per day. The 2nd week would be in the outpatient clinic seeing on average 18-20 patients per day. Practitioners must be comfortable with patients for colon screening, altered bowel habits (diarrhea/constipation), anemia, GI Bleeding, Reflux/GERD, Abdominal pain, Weight loss, Nausea/vomiting, initial evaluation for elevated liver function tests.
