Portneuf Medical Group seeks a clinically skilled Nurse Practitioner- with 1-2 years of advanced practice experience- to join our Bariatric Surgery Clinic team. In this role, you will evaluate and manage non-surgical and surgical patients seeking weight loss management, assist with inpatient care for patients undergoing bariatric surgery, and assist Bariatric Surgeons in the operating room. 

About the Position:

• Single Specialty Group; Hospital Employed
• Join a bariatric team of 2 physician, 2 nurse practitioners, 1 registered dietician, and support staff
• Primary and Revisional Bariatric Cases, Postoperative Follow-Up, Medically Supervised Weight Management
• 1-2 Surgery days and 3 Clinic days weekly 
• Expected Clinic Patient Load: 15-20 per day
• Inpatient rounding, Clinical call response required (rotating, occasional)
• Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
• EMR: Epic

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of clinical practice experience as an NP required
• DEA License and Idaho Controlled Substance License are required
• Surgical and inpatient experience preferred
