Providence is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join their team in Medford, Oregon. This is busy and growing Gastroenterology private practice that consists of six gastroenterologists and five advanced practice providers. The position will include providing a mix of outpatient and inpatient care. Enjoy an excellent collaborative team of providers and a healthy work-life balance in the beautiful Rogue Valley.
- 1 to 2 years of experience, preferred, in evaluating patients and treating patients in a primary care outpatient setting.
- Full time, M-F position, with limited evening call via telephone
- Caring, empathetic and compassionate patient care
- Ability to support growth of a strong patient and endoscopy based clinic.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (writing and face-to-face) and build strong working relationships.
- Eagerness and be self-driven to learn and take initiative when appropriate.
- High reliability and flexibility with schedule changes.
- Ability to work with a dynamic team in a team-oriented working environment.
- Experience with computers, electronic charting and Microsoft Office
- Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing or Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners. Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA License are required. COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:
- $110,000 and $130,000 per year - depending on experience
