St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to help manage its team in Anaheim, California. In this role, you will be overseeing a staff of 60 caregivers for the central refill department. Previous leadership experience is required. This position assists the medical group in creating systems to accomplish healthcare delivery that is effective, efficient, equitable, safe, timely and patient-centered. The Manager ensures patient safety through monitoring medication requests, adhering to approved policy guidelines and maintain accordance with state and federal medication governance laws and standards. In addition, the Manager ensures medication accuracy through monitoring and quality assurance. Hires and retains qualified staff and ensures new caregivers are trained and well oriented to perform their roles. Gives timely and constructive feedback on performance, conducts annual performance evaluations, and documents all corrective counseling. This is a great opportunity to lead a group while collaborating directly with both physicians and clinics in southern California.
