TeamHealth is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) with pediatric urgent care or emergency medicine experience to join the team at After Hours Pediatrics Urgent Care in Tampa, Florida.

New graduates will be considered. You must be comfortable caring for newborns to patients 21 years of age and be proficient in reading x-rays, splinting, suturing, minor orthopedics, minor trauma assessment and management, wound care/closures, and incision/drainage of abscesses. The EMR is AllScripts Pro. There are no vaccination requirements for clinicians. On average, clinicians see about 3 patients per hour per clinician, but this can sometimes be has high as 5.

The annual volume for Tampa clinics per year is about 60,000 patient visits. This facility offers digital radiology with remote radiologist over-reads, EKGs, IV hydration, splinting, and more. After Hours Pediatrics is open every day of the year. Weekends and holidays are evenly rotated.
