In Fort Stockton, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director to represent the organization to the public and must ensure that the duties and goals of the center are fulfilled.
Job Overview
- Performs as a Board liaison and implements the specific directives and general goals of the center’s Board of Directors.
- Represents the center by responding to media and/or governmental inquiries and identifying community and developing community partnerships.
- Lead strategic planning and implementation by staying informed about local, state, and national health center care trends and regularly assessing the needs of the community served.
- Leads funds development and management with Chief Financial Officer by developing annual budget, identifying funding opportunities, and submitting required federal, grant, and other program reports.
- Leads center operations and directly supervises the Senior Leadership/Management team and accounting staff.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience with emphasis on administration and accounting required. Masters or equivalents in a social or health related human services field or accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years in a health care delivery setting required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in management required.
- Grant writing, grant management and fundraising skills required.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours required.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal health care environment affecting the center and ability to follow the changing industry requirements in the health and business arenas required.
- Knowledge of non-profit accounting methods and regulations preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
