Job Description

The Providence Heart Institute and Providence St. Vincent Hospital is seeking full-time Critical Care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join their growing multidisciplinary team working in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. This position will offer an abundance of a career growth opportunities as you will be working closely with intensivists, cardiac surgeons, and advanced heart failure physicians. The Critical Care team treats patients with all manner of cardiovascular conditions. As the highest volume cardiac surgery program in the state, you will help manage patients following complex cardiac and aortic surgery. The Providence Heart Institute has a robust advanced heart failure service which includes an active heart transplant and LVAD program, as well as a very busy cardiogenic shock program which utilizes a wide array of temporary mechanical circulatory support including ECMO.

In addition, the program is a hub for vast data registries in cardiovascular care, including the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research and Data Science (CARDS).
