A temporary emergency medicine physician assistant opportunity is now available in Maryland. They are looking for a tentative February/March start date. The need is for four months with a possible extension. The shifts are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. You will see two to three patients per hour for sutures, splints, I&Ds, foreign body removal, and fractures/broken bones. Acuity seen are 3 to 5s, and may see some 2s with a physician. Candidates must have at least three years of experience. Assistance with hospital privileges will be provided by Weatherby.
