TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for an emergency medicine physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. We ask that candidates have previous emergency medicine experience with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in an emergency department preferred. New graduates will be considered and are encouraged to apply. Current ACLS and PALS certifications are required, and previous certification or current certification in ATLS is a plus but not required. Mercy Hospital of Buffalo features a 52,000 volume emergency department. In this role you will be expected to cover a few nights shifts each month. The shifts on nights are from 8:00pm - 6:00am. Candidates must be available for all shifts, to include 2 full weekends a month.
