Cooley Dickinson Health Care, an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital, is currently seeking a Surgical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our hospital team.
This position is a full-time nocturnist schedule (7p to 7a) and will cover rotating weekends.

This new position will support both general and orthopedic surgical services by providing in-house coverage of surgical service inpatients, as well as consults and admissions from the emergency department and other hospital services as requested. They will assist with general surgery and orthopedic emergency department procedures as requested including suturing, casting/splinting and wound care.

Requirements:
• Must have graduated from an accredited institution as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in an inpatient setting preferred.
• General surgery and orthopedic procedure experience preferred.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Willingness to work a full-time nocturnist schedule.
• Current Massachusetts licensure required.
