Providence Medical Group General Surgery in Everett is looking for a surgical physician Assistant to join its general surgery team. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic team player who is comfortable working with multiple physicians in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Being flexible to change, having a willingness to learn and excellent interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills are also highly desired. Position Details:

• Patient management will include: colorectal surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery, minimally invasive/laparoscopic and robotic surgery, breast surgery, anorectal diseases, soft tissue lesions, and more
• Perform patient histories and physicals exam in the office and hospital setting: new patients, follow ups, pre/post ops, consults
• Handle daily patient rounds, inpatient/outpatient education, daily documentation, and discharge summaries
• Order and interpret appropriate medications and diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory, x-rays, ultrasound, ct scans, etc
• Monitor and manages patient’s course of treatment and make/coordinate appropriate referrals as needed
• Perform in office procedures that include minor procedures (soft tissue excision, I&D’s), anorectal exams, manometry, and more
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Occasional call may be required based on need

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation is between $144,674 and $172,584 per year
• Full benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and more

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Physician Assistant licensed in the State of Washington
• Experience in an outpatient surgical setting
