Swedish Medical Group is actively seeking a full-time surgical specialty physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join Swedish Surgical Specialists. This team of physician assistants provide consultative services in both the inpatient and emergency room settings, as well as peri-operative care for adult patients with a wide range of surgical conditions. The new surgical PA or NP will be responsible for surgical consults with inpatients and ER patients, working collaboratively with Hospitalists, Intensivists and other medical specialists in the care of patients and performing clinic responsibilities. Members of the team will serve as first assistants in the operating room for select cases with general surgeons, as well as a variety of surgical specialties.
- A current WA State PA License and Federal DEA registration are required
- A competitive candidate will have a minimum 3 years’ experience working in surgical specialty care, primarily in the inpatient setting

Swedish Medical Center in the Issaquah Highlands is a full-service community hospital located 17 miles east of downtown Seattle. Our 80-bed facility provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient care, including oncology, cardiology, obstetrics, pediatrics, emergency services, intensive care and a host of specialized surgical services.
