Excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospital Medicine team at our new facility, Abrazo Surprise Hospital. This micro-hospital has 13 ED beds, 8 inpatient beds and 1 OR. Opening in June of 2020, this facility is anticipated to have a volume of 12,000 per year, low to moderate acuity, hospital medicine program in place, admittance rate 7% and EMR Cerner. Coverage of 12 hour physician shifts, 8 hour daytime APC shifts, with transfers going to Abrazo Arrowhead. Requirements include experience in Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine or Critical Care as well as current ACLS certification.
