Seeking full-time Physician Assistant to join our hospital-based Neurosurgical PA team.  Located in the Northern California central valley, Doctors Medical Center of Modesto, a 465-bed Level II Trauma Center, is one of the region’s only designated Primary Stroke Centers.  DMC’s Brain & Spine Institute offers advanced surgical and non surgical treatments such as minimally-invasive spine surgery, Deep Brain Stimulation, Spinal Cord Stimulator implants, and features dedicated Neuro Critical Care and Neuro step-down units.

Responsibilities include first-assist duties in the OR, facilitating ER and inpatient consults, daily floor and ICU rounds, H&P’s, and discharge summaries.  Experience with performing invasive procedures such as arterial lines, ventriculostomy, and ICP monitoring a plus.  Competitive compensation package includes full benefits and relocation assistance.  Minimum 1 year of Neurosurgical experience strongly preferred.  California licensure and Board Certification a plus, although not required.
