Radiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunity – Join us in California!

Envision Physician Services is seeking a full time NP or PA for the California Central Valley.

Envision Physician Services has an opportunity for two full-time PA or NPs to join our robust Interventional Radiology group at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, CA. We are a clinically oriented high volume IR practice performing over 7,000 procedures a year. The candidate will work alongside another advanced practice provider and our team of experienced Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologists in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. We work closely together as a team and rely on each other to provide the best clinical care possible to the patients in our community. There is ample opportunity to participate in clinical care and perform many different types of procedures.

Specific duties and responsibilities will include:

• Image guided procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, superficial drainages and biopsies, chest tube placement, central venous access, and other tube/catheter management
• Clinical evaluation of inpatients and outpatients, including history and physical exams, consenting and assessing patients for procedures, patient education
• Performing daily inpatient rounds and developing and implementing patient treatment plans with the Interventional Radiologist
• Interacting with multidisciplinary patient care team
• Participate in longitudinal care of interventional oncology and other interventional radiology patients
• Ordering exams, interpreting test results and imaging, being the point of contact for patients and referring physicians
• Experience/exposure to Interventional Radiology is preferred, but not required. Open to new graduates who are eager and willing to learn and grow long-term with our practice.
