TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity to to join the long-standing After Hours' pediatric urgent care program in the Tampa, Florida, and surrounding area. We are seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our reputable pediatric urgent care team. Practice locations include north and south Tampa, Brandon, New Port Richey, and Palm Harbor. This is a part-time position involving evening and weekend hours with a minimum of 50 hours scheduled per month. To be considered, you must offer practice experience as an advanced practice clinician in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting. The ideal candidate must be comfortable caring for newborns to 22 years of age, be proficient in reading x-rays, and skilled in procedures such as suturing, splinting, minor trauma assessment and management, minor orthopedics, wound care/closures and incision/drainage of abscesses.
