Full-Time – Anesthesiology/Day Schedule Opening at Norwalk Hospital in Fairfield County, Connecticut (One Hour from New York City)

Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist/day schedule to join our employed group at Norwalk Hospital, located in Fairfield County, Connecticut, about 60 miles northeast of New York City. With approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs across 3 hospitals, our group covers a variety of cases including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics. Our highly experienced team provides 24/7 coverage at Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals as well as coverage at New Milford Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, established program that includes teaching to residents, medical students and CRNA students. This is a full-time day/non-call schedule position (Monday – Friday 7am-330pm).

The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Anesthesia and looking to join a collegial team. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses, and relocation reimbursement.

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 400+ physicians and 150+ advanced practice providers as well as over 70 outpatient offices, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Astride a hill with a commanding view of the Long Island Sound, Norwalk Hospital serves a varied and attractive region of Southern Connecticut. The hospital is just minutes from beautiful places to hike, swim, sail or just walk along the beach.
