The Medstar Medical Group Anesthesiology (MMGA) at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital seeks a board certified anesthesiologist to fill a position on our adult transplant team. At Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, we provide anesthetics for a busy transplant service which includes liver, kidney, kidney pancreas, small bowel and multiviscersal transplants. We are primarily looking for candidates with training or exposure to transplant anesthesia, but an experienced anesthesiologist with a significant interest in organ transplantation will be considered. Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a commitment to teaching and education are prerequisites. The candidate will be eligible for a Faculty appointment at Georgetown University School of Medicine in accordance with experience and or previous academic appointment.
