TeamHealth has an excellent leadership opportunity for a full-time physician to lead our Anesthesiology team at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. This position is offering a $50,000 sign-on bonus! We ask that you be a board certified Anesthesiologist with proven and extensive leadership experience and at least five years of anesthesia experience. Tampa General Hospital is a premiere level 1 trauma center. Working in a care team model, the right candidate will manage 60 plus anesthetizing sites. The Facility Medical Director will work closely with hospital administration and participate in the day-to-day management of the perioperative area. TeamHealth provides both emergency medicine and anesthesia services for the hospital. Tampa General Hospital sees a diverse and extensive case mix, with coverage for all sub-specialties including transplants.
