Hampshire Cardiovascular Associates, a private practice affiliate of Cooley Dickinson Health Care, is seeking an Electrophysiologist to join their team in Western Massachusetts and help grow our program.  This position will be based out of Northampton, MA and work in Cooley Dickinson Hospital’s state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Suite, that was newly updated in Summer 2018.

Our Cardiovascular Suite offers services such as diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, implantable pacemakers and defibrillators, heart rhythm studies, cardiac ablations, and peripheral vascular studies and vascular interventions. We also have a full-time interventional radiologist on staff who utilizes the Cardiovascular Suite and other advanced imaging technology to assess and treat diseases of the vascular system.

The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology, with an active license in Massachusetts.

We are a physician-owned who practice has been serving the Western Massachusetts community for the past 11 years. We have office locations in Greenfield, Springfield, Holyoke, Westfield and Northampton, Massachusetts. Being the only fully independent private group practice in “The Valley” that is not hospital-owned, our goal is to provide the highest quality of care with a full array of cardiac services on a personal level that is tailored to the needs of our patients. We have hospital affiliations with 5 area hospitals and provide a full array of outpatient and inpatient services from office-based diagnostic testing, to a full array of advanced coronary and vascular interventions. All the procedures we do are performed and interpreted by our own providers, keeping the continuity of care.

Our affiliation with Cooley Dickinson Health Care (member of Mass General Brigham), allows us to tap into the networks and resources of the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. This partnership allows our next physician to cater the role to their specific interests and expertise. Currently our advanced cardiovascular services, including:

•    Treatment of heart failure, valvular heart disease, and peripheral artery disease

A Vein Center and accredited noninvasive imaging labs at Cooley Dickinson Hospital mean on-site access to specialized testing and other services.
