Saint Thomas Heart Electrophysiology Opportunity

Saint Thomas Heart in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a talented and ambitious electrophysiologist to join our nationally recognized program in 2019. Our heart center includes over 60 physicians, including 7 EPs, serving a large regional referral network. We are recruiting a fifth EP to join our group at Saint Thomas West Hospital. This candidate will be a recently trained BC/BE Electrophysiologist.* The ideal candidate will have completed a two-year Electrophysiology Fellowship and be well versed in device implants, lead extraction and cardiac ablation with an emphasis on complex ablations such as atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Current performance of epicardial VT ablation is required.* Experience with His bundle pacing is preferred. The candidate should have outstanding communication skills and be able to network with referring physicians.*This position requires outreach at least one day per week. EPs are part of the general cardiology call rotation.

Saint Thomas West Hospital:

Saint Thomas West Hospital is a high-volume tertiary referral center for comprehensive heart care in Nashville, Tennessee. The hospital has 4 modern EP laboratories and access to two hybrid surgical suites. All cases are supported by cardiovascular anesthesiologists. A full range of EP procedures are performed, including over 400 AF ablations annually. Dedicated staff assists in the management of over 3,300 device patients.

Our program is supported by an Advanced Heart Failure Clinic and an active Structural Heart service. The cardiac surgical program is a national referral center for robotic mitral valve repair, MAZE procedure, septal myomectomy, cardiac transplantation, LVAD, and ECMO.

Requirements

BC/BE in Electrophysiology

Well versed in device implants, lead extraction and simple and complex ablation procedures
