Southwest Cardiovascular Associates has been a privately owned and operated practice in Mesa, Arizona since 2001. We are a well-established, highly respected practice located in the heart of the East Valley.  Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our successfully established practice, focused on Interventional/Diagnostic Cardiology, Vascular procedures, and Interventional Radiology with over 16,000 community established patients and rapidly increasing volumes presently occurring in our high demand area. We maintain an intimate and unique office practice mainly encompassing the scope of Interventional Cardiology with thousands of patients and have established 2 Outpatient Based Labs (OBL’s), which both are operational and increasingly busy. Additionally, we are currently nearing the start of the build-out phase of our nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) designed to meet the anticipated demands of recently announced, CMS-allowable Medicare outpatient ASC reimbursements on elective Cardiac Stenting, AICD, Loop Recorder, Pacer placements, and EP Ablations. Our office has significant continued growth projections. In our comprehensive state-of-the-art endovascular centers (on-site), we average approximately 80-90 total procedures per month with a range of 45-50 peripheral interventions. We have a successful 98% patient satisfaction rate with exceptional outcomes and unmatched metrics. We have a very strong family oriented administrative staff, dedicated clinical team (nurses and techs), in-house dictation scribes, and a highly effective in-house coding/billing department to maximize collections rapidly and efficiently.

Expect a case mix of diagnostic and interventional procedures, with the ideal opportunity to on-board efficiently into a model designed to significantly increase volume with room to grow and invest in our existing facilities and new center being constructed. The ideal candidate is a Board Certified/Eligible Interventional Cardiologist with an immediate start date.
