Tidelands Health is recruiting full-time interventional cardiologists for outpatient and inpatient services at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital, Murrells Inlet and Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Georgetown. The hospitals are 22 miles apart in coastal South Carolina.

Our health system-owned outpatient practice is located in Pawleys Island, halfway between the hospitals. The practice has four cardiologists and three advanced practitioners with 13 exam rooms, ultrasound, echo and stress tests (nuclear and chemical). Our providers see 20+ patients per day. There are two cath labs at Tidelands Georgetown that perform more than 600 diagnostic caths and 200+ therapeutics annually, plus some peripheral cases and pacemaker implants. We have six RCIS-certified technicians. Back-up, EP and cardio-thoracic services with Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Interventional cardiology call is 1:3 and general, medical cardiology call is 1:5. ICU coverage by hospitalists and critical care physicians; full specialty support and diagnostics are on site.
